Student Activities
The mission of the student activities committee is to inspire today’s students to become the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians. This is done by engaging students in the classroom with activities or lectures, initiating technical tours, attending local science festivals, etc. If you're interested in being helping to promote ASHRAE STEM, see the event pages below.

Graduating soon? Transfer your Student Membership to Regular Membership with the ASHRAE SmartStart Transfer Program
We are always interested in planning events to share the fun of STEM fields. If you would like us to come to your school/university, girl/boy scouts, after school program, or any other youth program, contact us at [email protected]
Are you a NCC-ASHRAE 2017-2018 Season Ticket holder?
We value your commitment, and know that sometimes the best-laid plans can still go astray. If you find you will not be able to attend a PES or Dinner meeting that you have already paid for, please consider donating your voucher to a Student Member of ASHRAE. Up-and-coming mechanical engineers at UMD, CUA, NVCC, and other nearby schools would love to participate in your stead. Please email [email protected] as soon as possible prior to the event, and we will pass on the opportunity to an interested student. It would be a terrific bonus if you could share with us the name and contact information of another NCC-ASHRAE member who you would normally sit and share conversation with, who would be willing to be the student’s guide for the afternoon or evening.
Thanks for thinking of the next generation of engineers, and also for your commitment to RECYCLE your opportunities!
