SUMMARY:YEA Event: Facility Tour at Georgetown University
DESCRIPTION:Join the Young Engineers in ASHRAE for a presentation and tour by Georgetown Energy Partners! \n  \nGeorgetown Energy Partners is a partnership between Georgetown University\, Engie North America\, and Axium Infrastructure to modernize and manage the university’s utility systems. \nThe partnership has three overarching goals: \n1) maintain safe and efficient operations of Georgetown’s utility infrastructure \n2) fund and implement sustainable modernization projects while supporting the university’s efforts in environmental stewardship \n3) engage the Georgetown University community in these operational and stewardship activities. \n	The facilities and engineering team from Georgetown and Engie will be hosting ASHRAE YEA for a behind the scenes look at the ongoing project to reduce campus wide energy-use intensity by 35 Percent by 2031. The impovements include: \n\nLighting Upgrades\nBuilding Energy System Optimization\nUnderground Infrastructure Replacement\nCampus Steam System Repairs and Enhancements\nSmart Meter Installation\nCooper Field Utility Enhancements\n\n	When: \nThursday\, June 13\, 2024 \n(Agenda Subject to Change Prior to Event) \nPresentation on Campus Improvement Projects by G.U. and Engie – 5:30 – 6:00 PM \nCentral Utility Plant Tour – 6:00 – 6:30 PM \nHappy Hour (location TBD) – 6:30 to 8 PM \n  \n  \n	Where: \nTour will meet on the Georgetown Campus at the corner of West Rd and North Rd.
