Dinner Presentation
Adiabatic Cooling Technology
Data Centers, Industrial Processes, Power Generation and HVAC often consume water for cooling to improve system efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Fundamentals of Adiabatic Cooling covers what an adiabatic fluid cooler is, and the benefits of an adiabatic fluid cooler versus a dry cooler or cooling tower. Various factors that influence cooling equipment selection will be discussed including ambient temperatures, heat rejection requirements, water and energy efficiency, budget, geography, space availability, replacement or new construction. This presentation also includes the maintenance characteristics of adiabatic fluid coolers, equipment controls, and the impact of related codes and standards.
