Earth Day Volunteering:
Invasive Kudzu Removal on the Mount Vernon Trail

The Friends of Mount Vernon Trail will be improving the trail by removing invasive kudzu vines that are killing nearby trees and constantly growing over the trail.

When:
Sunday, April 21 · 10am - 12pm

Volunteers will be:
Using pruners and loppers to remove invasive vines &
Hauling away vegetation and fallen tree branches

What to Bring:
Water
Gloves (they will have some to borrow)
Long sleeves and long pants

Where to Meet:
The work area is on the Mount Vernon Trail just north of Old Town. We will meet on the trail. See the picture for walking directions from the nearest address:
