Attendees will gain insights into the tangible benefits of ice thermal storage, notably its cost-saving potential and its contribution to energy efficiency. James (Jim) Pensyl
Jim Pensyl has over 25 years’ experience in the thermal storage, industrial refrigeration, cook-chill, and industrial washing equipment industries. In his over 25-year tenure with Girton Jim has held positions as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Sales Engineer, Thermal Division Manager and is currently serving as the Engineering Manager. In his current role with Girton Jim works with stake holders and engineering firms to successfully size, design, and integrate Ice thermal storage systems, chilled water systems, cook-chill systems and industrial washing systems.
Jim is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in Chemistry as well as a graduate Leadership Central Penn. Jim is an active member and past president of the ASHRAE Anthracite Chapter and is currently serving as the ASHRAE Region III Membership Promotion RVC. Jim volunteers at several local non- profits including the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum working with youth on stem enrichment programs.
