Meet Your YEA Chairs
Joe Stephens is a Sales Representative with Victaulic, bringing seven years of experience in the HVAC industry. He graduated from Penn State in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering and earned an MBA with a focus on International Business from Bellevue University in 2022.
Over the course of his career, Joe has excelled at combining technical knowledge with a practical understanding of client needs. His experience has helped him build strong professional relationships and contribute to successful projects in the HVAC field.
In his free time, Joe combines his love for adventure and discovery through snowboarding, martial arts, and exploring unique restaurants. These hobbies reflect his curiosity and commitment to personal growth, traits that also define his professional approach.
Alex Ratliff is a Mechanical Engineer at AECOM, specializing in mechanical systems and design work within the HVAC industry. He graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in General Business in the Spring 2021 semester. He currently serves as the Student Activities chair and YEA co-chair for NCC ASHRAE.
In his free time, Alex enjoys both playing and watching sports, especially hockey and basketball. He is an avid Washington Capitals and University of Maryland Terrapins basketball fan.
Madison Seti, EIT is a Design Engineer at Southland Industries, specializing in design build mechanical systems. She has interests in energy, sustainability, and fostering innovation and creativity through engineering design. Madison graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and she currently serves as a co-chair of YEA for NCC ASHRAE.
In her free time, Madison enjoys the culinary arts, especially baking sourdough, taking fitness classes, and connecting with her family, friends, and community.
