Liquid Cooling in the Data Center
The increase of high-performance computing along with the increased use of AI and edge computing, the issue of cooling high density spaces has become critical. The data center industry is beginning the transition to liquid cooling.
This presentation will define what high density is and what is driving these heat loads. The technology that is currently being integrated into today’s data centers. Also, how is liquid cooling meeting and exceeding sustainability goals.
John Boggs – Director of Thermal Solutions, Vertiv
In his role as Director, Thermal Solutions at Vertiv, John serves as the corporate technical interface for large end-users and consulting engineers who specialize in mission critical thermal designs. A key function of this role is to provide input on product development based on customer needs and market demands, with a recent focus on the rapidly growing liquid cooling market. In previous roles with Vertiv, John has been responsible for building out global project teams that focus on the business shift from traditional Enterprise to Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC), Colocation, and Hyperscale customers.
Prior to that he served in various technical and sales roles dedicated to the latest Thermal market growth needs. John has been with Vertiv for 20 years and holds engineering degrees from Ohio State University and Ohio University.
